We are ArkCha’ Giving Hope, a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 93-4242518 Find on the IRS website https://apps.irs.gov/app/eos/). Our service and advocacy are for those who experience the negative effects of being residentially disadvantaged.
Our mission is to serve the most vulnerable. Serving those families who need it most is our purpose. To give is to care…to care is to share. Together we can fight to help combat hunger and poverty in our communities.
Our contributions and support are not just limited to our local communities. We participate in the humanitarian efforts worldwide to assist in eradicating acute food insecurity and hunger. We believe Charity should not have borders. We also provide nutritional and educational enrichment for our impoverished youth. Your generous donations will also aid in this worldwide global effort. When we help others to overcome and prosper you too will prosper.
Some have asked what’s your motivation in supporting the cause against housing insecurity and poverty? We wish we had an elegant and profound response, but simply we do what we do because it needs to be done. It’s the best part of being human when you share and help others in need.
As you visit our website, the desire is that you be informed, inspired, motivated and empowered to give your support in the fight against hunger, poverty and the devastating unhoused conditions and help facilitate a united effort for equality and positive change. We want to present this information from a more personal approach, the real untold stories of the unhoused epidemic and the effects of poverty and social injustices here in America and abroad based on their personal experiences rather than information exclusively dedicated to data and statistics. The subject matter on this website is not for shock value, it illustrates the value of all human life. Every life has inherent value, no human life has more significance than another. Love, kindness, compassion and empathy are the best forms of humanity, the best bridge builder for transforming lives. Through humanity, EVERY voice matters in humanity’s symphony. We should respect and give a helping hand to those suffering all over the world.
We use the power of storytelling to move hearts and to inspire action. Thank you for being a part of inspiring action with us! We hope to bring a heightened sensitivity and awareness towards the perception of the unhoused epidemic, the historic oppression and the unique barriers that exist. This site’s primary focus is from the perspective of hunger, poverty and homelessness, which we will refer to as the ‘residentially disadvantaged, ‘housing insecurity’ ‘unhoused’ ‘sleeping rough’ ‘diamonds in the rough’ or ‘houselessness’. These terms help soften the negative stigma used to describe a class of people rather than the afflicted condition they endure.
The term ‘housing insecurity’ addresses the varied experiences and challenges of those who are unhoused and those who at risk of becoming so. The wording is not about being politically correct. It is about being empathetically correct, humanizing people who are often made to feel invisible, rejected and stigmatized by society. Note: Some independent articles within this site may contain the term homeless or homelessness. The majority of the content on this website is from personal observations, and interpersonal relationships. Certain information will be omitted due to its sensitive nature and to respect confidentiality.
Every human being is entitled to shelter and adequate food on their table. The less fortunate should be afforded the same privileges. They are worthy of love, to love and to be loved… LOVE IS THE COMMON THREAD OF CONNECTEDNESS THAT TIES US TOGETHER AS HUMAN BEINGS. While this website’s focus is toward the plight of the unhoused and poverty stricken it is also our hope that it offers a peripheral view of humanity and how we see and view the world and each other and how ‘TOGETHER’ we can make it a better place for everyone while we are all just passing through.
Let’s take moments of hostility and transform them into one of understanding and humanity for those who have been preyed upon, victimized and exploited. We can embark upon a fresh new appreciation for human life and love for all. Change and action are the catalysts to promote love, peace, and happiness. UNITED we stand, divided we fall. Justice for some should be justice for all!
